Billing Policies

 

• Payment for office visits and diagnostic tests is expected at the time of service.

• Hospital charges are billed after discharge.

• Payment of co-pay or co-insurance is expected at the time of service; full payment is expected if there is no insurance

          coverage.

• Primary insurance claims are filed electronically every day, provided insurance information has been supplied. Second

          and third insurance claims are filed on paper when the primary has responded.

• Payment is expected after all insurances have responded.

• Statements are sent out monthly.

If you experience problems meeting your financial obligation, please call us at (573)256-3018 to discuss a

payment schedule. We will work with you to arrange a satisfactory plan.

Missouri Heart Center accepts cash, check, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

 

Check Policy

 

By using a check for payment, you agree to the following terms: In the event your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, you authorize us to electronically (or by paper draft) re-present the check to your bank account for collection of the amount of the check, plus applicable fees as permitted by state law.
